September 25 through October 9, 2009
Those who have journeyed with us before, know that our Mystic Lover Pilgrimages provide quantum leaps in the healing of heart and the waking of soul in the precious matrix of Friends of the Heart!.
Our key word triggering the alchemy of this journey is.... exstasis! "ecstacy" — in its true spiritual sense — means to 'burst up and out of' the confines of the fearful little self. As we immerse in the conscious fields of truly ecstatically devoted mystics St Francis, Padre Pio, and St Catherine, Clare of Assisi, and Bernardine, we will — under Jayem's guidance — activate openings of all seven central chakras (beginning at the heart), exploding into a love of God each of these mytics (all part of the Christ Mind lineage) embodied for us all.
The key teaching will be taken from a series of communications Jayem has received from God directly and recently, first shared at our advanced Palpable Forgiveness groups in February:
"When you love Me wholly
I can love you absolutely."
Everything we do will be in service of exploding the fears and myths of the separate and little self...into the bliss and ecstacy of loving God 'with all thy heart, soul, and mind.' Just how deeply are we willing to open into the bliss of Love's ecstatic presence?
For anyone who chooses this pilgrimage as their first journey with us, you are in for a real treat, experiencing the palpable, life-changing presence of Jayem's wisdom, skill, and capacity to 'quicken' the alchemy deep in the seat of heart and soul. As always, every gathering he creates comes first from the guidance of Jeshua to do so, and it is very common for participants to feel the presence of Jeshua and other Masters throughout our journeys.
The following itinerary is a guide only; while locations are set, what occurs while we are in them is subject to the willingness and desire each of us brings to our journey and the influx of energies the Master's direct to us!
We will visit many historic locations and there will be plenty of time to take photographs and drink in the sights, however we are here for a spiritual purpose. Updates will be provided moment to moment and if you allow, allow, allow then miracles will truly occur in the very seat of your soul. Just how willing are we to S.O.A.R.?? (SO OPEN AND RECEIVE!!)
What sort of things you can expect to occur...
- Each morning we will gather before breakfast and set the tone for our day through a combination of heart-centered and easy yoga, chanting, breath, and prayer. We encourage people to wear loose, comfortable clothing to these gatherings, and don't worry if you have never attended a yoga class before in your life. These gatherings are about opening to the mystery of what the day will unfold, and are about playful discovery and innocence!!!
- Meals. Breakfast and dinner will be provided throughout the trip. Remember that even these simple events are about so much more than opening to the bliss that these taste sensations offer... Every moment of your pilgrimage is priceless if you choose to embrace the opportunity. Share with friends of the heart in a new way, practice and participate in conscious listening. Open to the wonder of knowing that you do not know who the being is that you are sitting with, (whether they are an old friend or new — anyone embracing a spiritual journey is constantly changing) and you have no idea what the moment is for. Turn first to the mystery...
- Most evenings (and during several scheduled daytime gatherings) we will join after dinner and open to the mystery of the moment under Jayem's masterful guidance. From silent prayer to wild dancing, these gatherings are a gift from Divine Mystery! But always and always we will weave our way into the joy of gratitude for the jewels and miracles of the day we have shared.
- We will travel as a group by bus to our various locations. Unlike many tours you will not be provided with a history lesson during this travel time. Even our bus travelling time will be utilized to go deeper into the alchemy of awakening. Learn the art of conscious listening; contemplate teaching excerpts from Jeshua's Way of Mastery; immerse in guided meditations prepared by Jayem; join in always fun and juicy Q&A (start thinking what you have always wanted to know about Jayem's journey, or Jeshua's real life, but were too afraid to ask!!!) Anyone for "bus massage"?
-
Each of us will be asked to assume complete 100% responsibility for everything that happens. As soon as you make a commitment to attend this pilgrimage, the journey will begin. Remember that "nothing is happening to you; everything is happening for you." Transparency and honesty are hallmarks of this PathWay, and we ask that you remember that every upset to the ego is a setup for breakdown in order to breakthrough!
-
We will laugh, sing, dance, play and open more and more to the bliss-filled light of love, as is the theme for our pilgrimage.
-
Oh, and of course we will visit some historic sights throughout Italy. Below is the more "formal" travel itinerary:
Itinerary
Friday 25th September — Rome
Arrive in Rome to be met by Sandy in the afternoon. Travel together by bus to our hotel. Some time to shower and settle in before dinner and then an opening gathering as we meet and embrace all who have chosen to participate in our pilgrimage.
Tonight we will participate in our Shabbat opening ceremony, an ancient Jewish tradition (although we have added some things that increase the opportunity for bliss, such as wine and chocolate) encouraging all of us to 'cease', 'to rest', to allow a deathing of all that has been called "your life" to this point. We will go into silence, meditation and prayer overnight; a chance to truly contemplate what this pilgrimage will be about for you.
Saturday 26th September — Rome
This morning we will have our Shabbat ending Ceremony, coming out of silence and into a new incarnation; we will individually listen for the holy spirit to provide a theme, energy or focus for our week.
Today we open to the wonder of Rome with an art historian who will take us to the "Basilica and Catacombe of S. Agnese and the Mausoleo of Santa Costanza". Some free time to have lunch with friends in one of the local cafes or restaurants — your choice. Then in the early afternoon we will take a guided visit to the Vatican Museum, Sistina Chapel and St. Peter's Basilica.
Sunday 27th September — Rome
Today we will have a guided visit to the Ancient Roman Empire: the Coliseum, the Roman and Imperial Forum, the Palatine Hill. Lunch will be somewhere in Rome as we are provided with some free time to wander around the city centre. We can admire the Pantheon, the Trevi Fountain, Navona Square, the Spanish Steps. Or perhaps indulge in some shopping... After our evening gathering there will be the option of enjoying Rome by night. (Jayem insists the best gelato shop in the world is just off the Pantheon!)
Monday 28th September — Rome to Pisa and then onto Florence
We travel to Florence, Tuscany so today is our first transition day. We will stop for a seaside lunch on the way to Pisa. In Pisa we will visit the wonderful Campo dei Miracoli with the famous Leaning Tower, Cathedral, Baptistery, Camposanto museum before continuing on to Florence.
Tuesday 29th September — Florence
Today we visit with an expert guide the city built in a harmonious setting of hills full of houses and villas. The main city of Tuscany has a universal reputation of wonderful richness and high quality of monuments and art treasures. A guided walking tour in the morning to the Cathedral, the Giotto Tower, the Baptistery, the Signoria Square, the church of Santa Croce and the famous bridge over the River Arno, Ponte Vecchio. Then in the afternoon a wine tasting party and some free time to take in more of Florence.
Wednesday 30th September — Florence
Travel to Siena, birthplace of Saints Catherine and Bernardine and Italy's loveliest medieval city. In the morning guided visit to St Dominic's Basilica where we will learn more about the life of St Catherine, the mystical bride of Christ. We visit the Basilica of St Francis to begin our attunement to him. In the afternoon we will stroll around Piazza del Campo famed for its Palio (13th century costumed horserace).
Thursday 1st October — Florence
Today will be about dropping in more deeply as a group. Some time to relax and stroll through the grounds. And, an optional afternoon visit to some of the local sites of your choice.
Friday 2nd October — Florence
The morning will be at our hotel participating in group activities, again lead by Jayem and Holy Spirit. We will have lunch together as a group at the hotel before returning to Siena. Tonight will be a special treat with dinner in Siena, and, as a full week will have passed we will have our Shabbat opening ceremony, before returning to the hotel for an important night of silence and prayer, preparing for the next phase of our journey.
Saturday 3rd October — Assisi
After coming out of Shabbat, we leave Tuscany to enter into the spectacular countryside of the Umbria region. Destination? Assisi! Known for S. Francesco Basilica, made by two churches laid one upon the other, the lower church includes the Saint's Tomb, the upper one includes 28 frescos by Giotto representing the Saint's life. Assisi is known also for the Santuari: Santa Maria degli Angeli, in which is the famous Cappella della Porziuncola, the Convento di San Damiano, where the Crucifix (now in Santa Chiara) spoke to S. Francesco. Along the way we will stop at Lake Trasimeno for a relaxing picnic lunch. On arrival we will have a guided tour of Assisi. This day begins the more in depth "retreat" period of our journey.
Sunday 4th October — Assisi
Our entire itinerary has been built around the sacred Feast of St Francis celebrations occurring this day. Along with our group activities at our hotel, we will immerse in those being conducted in throughout Assisi, with pilgrims from all over the world!
Monday 5th October — Assisi
Immersion in the alchemy of the PathWay,
we will remain at our retreat centre all day.
Tuesday 6th October —
S. Giovanni Rotondo
Following our attunements to St Francis, and the alchemy of our PathWay practices, we depart Assisi and travel to the sacred matrices of Padre Pio. He began appearing to Jayem in December, 2008, and is the 'calling card' Jeshua used to signal the call to this pilgrimage! A half day for "bus travel spirituality, frivolity, and general lack of all egoic seriousness!!!!" Stops in the stunning Italian countryside, of course. We will get settled in our new hotel, and gather in the evening after dinner.
Wednesday 7th October —
S. Giovanni Rotondo
Today we visit the sacred places in S. Giovanni Rotondo and attune to the inspiring devotion of Padre Pio, with prayer and meditation. Did you know Padre Pio exuded the scent of lavender, and when his body was exumed many years after his death, there was virtually NO DECAY, and the scent was still present? His presence remains in this sacred place, waiting for us to be quickened in his presence.
Thursday 8th October — Rome
Today we travel back to Rome where we will be provided with some free time to drink in your last night here, and we begin to bring our pilgrimage to a close.
Friday 9th October — Rome
Our last morning together... We will have one final group gathering and closure before saying "arrivederci" to Rome as we take the bus to the airport.

Expected weather patterns:
By all accounts September to October is a good time to visit Italy. The night-time temperatures have cooled, and there's little chance of being too hot and humid during the day. There may be some rain, but the tempertures are still warm. There are about 8 hours of bright sunshine a day in September, and 6 in October.
Average for September 79°F (26°C) — 59°F (15°C) with around 3.20 in (81.3 mm) rainfall. In October 71°F (22°C) — 52°F (11°C) with around 5.10 in (129.5 mm) rainfall.
You will need a passport valid for at least 6 months beyond the length of our stay to enter Italy, and most visitors will be granted a 90 day visa on arrival. Ensure that you have sufficient cash for your needs and make sure your credit card expiry dates cover the duration of your trip. If asked at customs, simply inform them you are on a tour with Zefiroworld Tours. Better, just have a copy of the itinerary with you!
