Dear Way of Mastery Students,

Firstly, thank you for your enrolling for one of Jayem's Online Courses.

Some of you are already familiar with the forums here at wayofmastery.com where Jayem holds his online courses, some of you are possibly new to using an online forum.

Please read this message closely and carefully as if you are new to our forums, you will need to follow the below instructions to gain access to the teaching forums:

Course Beginner's Manual

If this is the first time you have used an online forum, we strongly advise that you download and read our basic user's manual here:

This manual outlines basic forum usage techniques and tips, as well covering a few issues with respect to your own computer and some problems that we've encountered with a few students in the past and how their local computer setup has interfered with the forum's correct operation.

This manual is not designed to cover every aspect or function of the forum software we use at www.wayofmastery.com/ - if you have any other questions please don't hesitate to drop me, your webmaster, an e-mail via webmaster@wayofmastery.com, or if you're already familiar with posting messages on forums, please leave a message in the Help Room section at the forums, simply because every question we can answer there may help someone else down the track, and they'll be able to search and find their solution there.

The Course Commences - What Happens Next?

To begin, all students must be registered on this forum. Once students are registered and have become forum members (and many of you already are), we then assign your login user special privileges that give you access rights to the dedicated sub-forum where your Course material will be posted.

If you visit the forums directly by going to www.wayofmastery.com you won't miss the links that will take you into your Course forums. Please note, however, that the Course sub-forums are hidden and not-accessible to all other forum users who aren't part of this Course, and the public. Also, until your Course access is activated, you also will not be able to see or gain access to the Course sub-forum. We will send you an email once we have upgraded your access rights, so there is no need for you to keep visiting the forum to find out if you have access.

Registering and Logging Into the Forums

To create your forum membership or "register" at www.wayofmastery.com you need to look for the "Log in" box below the navigation to the left of the page, or at the left column, depending on what page your are on. At the bottom of this box you will see a link saying "Register Now!" - click on this to begin the forum registration process. Or you can click this link here to commence the process at once: http://wayofmastery.com/register.php

Once you have registered successfully (the forum will send you out an email to confirm your email address, and you must click the link in this forum to complete your registration), you can login to the forum on the left of the forum homepage. You will be asked to login with your user name and password.

If you have any problems with the registration process, let us know by sending us an e-mail with your user name.

Gaining Access to the Course Forum

When we have upgraded your access rights, probably within 24 hours of you registering with the forums, we will send you an e-mail. Access can be gained by using any of the links available on the forums homepage - once you have gained access to your Course forum, you can bookmark that address and return directly if you wish.

Some Notes

1. If two students are using the same computer, please be careful to ascertain whose profile is currently logged in when you are accessing the forums, as if "Tom" posts a message using "Jenny"'s profile, it will appear to be a message from "Jenny" that has been placed on the forum, which can be confusing. Logging out after every session on the Way of Mastery forums will solve this problem in situations such as these.

2. User names can be anything you like - when you register, provided no one else has already used a specific user name, you can pick your own out. If you wish to change your user name after you have created your forum profile, then just let us know and we'll do that for you - you won't be able to do this yourself.

3. Try and keep your passwords short, and try to use all lower case letters, as the password field is CAPS sensitive - ie. DLbunny is not the same as dlbunny.

4. If you have apparently registered with the forums and haven't heard from us by next week, please send an e-mail to webmaster@wayofmastery.com and we'll have a look at what may be holding things up. Remember that we will be matching your forum registrations with the e-mail addresses and names that you have used when enrolling for the Course, so if you are using a spiritual name and a different e-mail address at the forums, we may not be able to tell that you are a student or just a regular new forum member joining, which happens all the time.

Within the Course Forums is where all the sharings from Jayem will be posted, in their own individual forums. Here you can respond to the assignment, or post whatever messages where you like - no one will mind!
